| i knew it was almot to the end of SZ...... it just wasnted the same as 9 months ago when every other day had a update of 30 - 60 songs in it ..those were my mad download days heheheh..anyway its a shame that its finnally over... it probably was the best direct download for trance site i ever came across....had pretty much every song u looked for when it came for trance ...and many other sites never had .....well well wel i just hope thatthis site will have little more fortune and not go in the same path then it will be devestating to us |

ah whatever, that was just a good site for leechers, who dont put any work into the mp3 scene and get everything out of it. anyways i was in an irc chat a while back and they were talking about how the ( i forget the name) but the copyright police were after them. that is why they took that vacation in the summer. so i dont know, maybe another site like that will pop up somewhere, if not, get involved

this is the end of ShadowZone
The reasons for our decision are on the one hand the Webspace, which was a problem for us again and again - and with the huge amount of traxx that's also not amazing. And on the other hand it eventually had become too dangerous. We are / were probably the largest Trance/Techno Site in the internet and therefore also got quite famous. And we all want to keep our lovely PC systems, don't we? Therefore we have decided to pull through this very hard step. I would like to thank all fans/visitors again for the tremendous support Your guestbook entries kept me going through the hard times. THANKS!!
I would also like to thank my crew, especially DraciD and Trapman. But of course also DjTS, DJPJ, Simplesimon and Smoke

I LOVED that site. It was the best place for direct downloads EVER. I remember my 56k modem being left on overnight for 8 hours straight just downloading new tune after new tune from shadowzone...!! So where to now for direct downloads?? I hate to admit it but the direct downloads section here is probably the place i've been going to most often! |
