I know a little about this Because I was on my way to work as usual, I take the Avenue bus from Queen's Park to Avenue and Davenport, Well to my surprise I am wondering why there are so many police cars around, and it turns out the man set hom self on fire!!! I am like WTF??? WTF is going on in this world - is there a crazy drug being distilled into Ontario's water system??
then the bus still hasn't freakin' come and I am colder then a popsicle!:( my toes and noes were FREEEEEEEEEEZIN!
Then all these tractors with sayings on them "Don't take away out land" Tabacco is our industry" and "This is my land, this is you land..", this fromage song was being sung - what the hell!???:conf:
So basically , I think the bus as delayed - which made me late for work!!@!:( I got there at 2:58 p.m.Q!! my shift is at 3pm! For a girl that lives in a glass house - I DON'T want to throw any stones!!!:haha: Anyways, this man that tourched himself! he's got issues - so does that guy that died while throwing his own kid over the bridge, and so is that other dude that shot himself infornt of someones house.
And WTF abotu these farmers, coming from all over outside Toronto area and casuing HUGE delays and traffic jams! To top it all off the police were leading the, let's say "PARADe"

Well, they have the right to protest just as much as any other group I guess... and it's not like it was a surprise gathering. They informed the police of what they were planning to do, and obviously received approval because the Toronto police issued a press release yesterday at 4:30pm advising people of the potential traffic disruptions on the highways into downtown, and also stating that Queen's Park Cres. would be closed from 9am-4pm.
It would be another story if they just showed up out of the blue and blocked traffic. |
