sorry if there are a thousand threads about this but i just watched it last nite for the first time and OMFG!!!!!! it is so amazing!! i thought it was so much better then the first one. all the tracks were sick and there wasn't that many performances which was good because in thte first one it got old real quick
every song was sick and the flow was superb!! what a sick set by tiesto :crazy: :crazy: :eyespop: :eyespop: i sooo wich i was there and hopefully will go this year (if he does it again, which he will :D )
anyway.... what do u guys think of it???

i have no problem with it... they always do that, it is just the way concerts are edited. they have to switch every couple of seconds and they have to make it look flashy and cool |

it came in the mail the middle of last month and i have watched it a few times to get used to it. sorry i cant agree with it being better than the first. i even went back and watched the first one right after to compare...
cons about the second one:
-the camera angles and switching angles really fast. sorry i cant deal with this, even after watching it a few times and knowing what shots are comming next. it's like having ADD. The first TIC dvd had much longer camera shots before the angle changed and you could actually focus on what was happening before they went to the next thing. the fireworks and the whole intro seems amazing in this dvd, but the damn camera wont stay still for longer than .2 seconds so i cant really feel how great it must have looked to all those that were there.
-no second disc like people in europe got. they said it was because of cost. anyone who likes tiesto and would buy the dvd in the first place would shell out the extra money for a 2 disc dvd. i want the mp3 mix of the show that everyone else got overseas.
-the tracklisting is messed up. they forgot to put in euphoria or athena (cant remember off the top of my head). there should be one extra track id in the inside cover that just isnt there.
-it seems that even though the MC did a pretty good job in the first TIC show, he found the need to speak twice as much during this one. I'm sorry i didnt buy the dvd to hear him talk. his intro speech in the first TIC was great and i thought the one he did for TIC 2004 sucked. How many times to i need to hear "3 times in a row"? I know he was voted 3 times #1 dj already.
-the camera angle right above the head level of the crowd was cool but not for as much as they used it. it gets really annoying after a while. what is going on in the background of these shots gets really blurred with all the people moving around.
-the sound quality is much better in the first dvd. i think in trying to include more crowd noise (which i think was a good idea) in this dvd, some of the tracks kinda sound a little hollow and distorted on the dvd.
pros of the dvd:
-silence. what can i say, i was looking forward to getting this just for silence if for nothing else. i cant say that i thought the visuals during this track were really that amazing but i was happy to just have it included in this dvd none the less.
-the camera angle from behind tiesto shooting out into the crowd. especially when the first drop of adagio for strings is....amazing. really captured the essence of the moment. i get chills whenever i see the crowd going nuts when they used this camera angle.
-i thought the lighting was better that the first dvd.
so overall i like this dvd and will definitely watch it again but it doesnt measure up to the first one. the first one was really special and i was expecting too much from this one i think. i was left feeling a little disappointed. i hope you guys liked it. |

i got mine at FYE but i know u can def. get it online or @ virgin mega records or sam goody........
Hearing silence was amazing :crazy: :crazy: it was cool how tiesto was by the crowd handin out signed vinyls and stuff
i am soooo going this year!!!! |
