Here's the scenario: Last week, another section at work asked me to upgrade the database software I gave them a couple years ago, so I said OK. I met with a bunch of them on Friday and worked over the weekend on an upgrade. Met with one section chief on Monday and another yesterday to show them a Beta and got their input for more modifications. Today, one of them called me and asked what I needed for tomorrow when I met with the entire section to teach them how to use the new software, since their supervisor put it on their schedule. She knew I wasn't there yet with the software, but was told to call me. I told her to tell her f*cking supervisor (who ain't even in my food chain) to kiss my f*cking ass if he didn't even give me the courtesy of asking where I was at with the upgrade (in under a week) and that he could come to my office for the same face to face response or to my supervisor's office for more of the same. Rather presumptuous I thought for a sister section.
As a matter of fact, I could've hardened it tonight, but am getting drunk instead and letting the f*cker boil a while just to teach him a damn lesson. with the all powerful Developer/Programmer and see what you get! You get at least a week wait at a minimum as a penalty for being stupid.... Gotta love them office politics!
