actually about 2 weekends ago, i headed down to south beach to see my gf ivana who was down from NYC. we went to this party at the Raleigh hotel and then to Rokbar and it was a "so so" night, i almost went home at the rokbar, but then i met some guy and he was like, "yea i'm getting ready to go to Amika for Sasha" and i was like, "SASHA? WTF?" lol i didn't even know he was in town. so we headed over there asap of course and i had the best ing night...i danced my ass off until like 5 in the morning and it was the best set ever:) usually sasha plays that sleepy chill music, but this set was way more energetic, but still that sexy prog style of his. and Amika is fairly small w/ the DJ booth right smack in the middle of the crowd...you could reach over and high five him, it was awesome. i'm looking forward to seeing him again during wmc.
i really don't think i'm going to spend the entire time at the main stage at ultra. i did that last year and i missed out on a lot of good acts. if i'm gonna go to crobar and space that whole week for oakenfold and carl cox and all the big guys, then i want to spend time seeing the ones that don't really come around that often like Way Out West and Hybrid, or Rabbit in the Moon... is WOW still spinning at ultra?? is PMT going to be there? i would give my right arm to have WOW & PMT sign my "Intensify" PMT Remix record...
this is me until wmc.

the rest will consist of beach going in the day (radio 1 party most likely) and im winging the rest ;)

i can't believe u guys would rather see ferry & van dyk over oakey, sandra & hernan:wtf:
oh well i know this is TRANCEaddict, but i'm a total prog head. i was never impressed w/ paul van dyk and never got into him or his sets/productions. i couldn't tell u one of his songs or sets, lol. ferry is cool though, but if he is spinning straight trance like van dyk then i'm not a fan really. i MET ferry though and what a friendly guy:) he was really cool and talkative.
i gotta stay true to oakey...he is the motherF'n man! i don't care what anyone says. i love all those remixed 80's tunes he plays and the prog breaks...i'll be dancing all night at crobar on the 25th! we're getting 2 tables in the main room, i'm so psyched:crazy: |

Haha if you want good 80s remixes you need to check out Sander ;)
I know you stay true to your Oakey convictions though, and that party's totally worth it b/c of Hernan. |

| BY THE WAY for all of you coming who aren't from south florida, you should definitely try to check out our local Cedric Gervais. he is the resident at space now. i frickin live for him and his style will keep you on your feet for sure. i'm sad that he left crobar, but oh well. stephan luke is good too, he spins at crobar on fridays and amika on sundays. i'm sure he'll be around opening for some of the big acts. they both play prog/house i guess u could say. cedric is known to throw down that remixed Nirvana tune and White stripes...that sorta style...my favorite:) |
