same here...i usually only drink redbulls but a lot of times we get a bottle so i feel obligated to drink vodka/redbull...i just make my drinks very weak:p the only thing is that when my bf and i decide to do yay, it's an 8ball or nothing. i know that sounds bad but we both have a pretty high tolerance for the stuff and an 8ball is perfect for us to split every time. i can't enjoy myself with just a gram or 2 and key bumps all night. i'd rather do a big ass line before we leave and get that drip going, and not need bumps for like an hour or 2! |

that's how it was for me. i guess i was expecting coke to be like "HOLY ", like a roll hits you for the first time, but it's just sort of like, "oh wow, let's go party" and u just talk a whole bunch the whole night and you're very confident and alert...not like rolls can be where u are just totally jacked and it's hard to stand up sometimes. you are more able to maintain control when u are coked up. it's a very social drug. you meet lots of people and talk to everyone and just have a good time and dance all night. if you don't have a very addictive personality, then it's not so bad to try it. when u do it for the first time, make sure u have some xanax or downers to pop when ur coming down because the comedown is harsher than rolls. |
cool thanks...yah i dont have an addicive personality at all. i toook up smoking so i could go to the smoking area to meet girls and hang out with one of my good friends (he clubs with me all the time) yah then i quit cuz well i don't smoke lol. and one time i was smoking weed every day for like 2 weeks then just stopped...now its only in moderation, and even then its scarce.
so i have come to this conclusion...i can take as many drugs as i want cuz i know i wont get addicted. :disbelief |

to answer a few earlier respones -
yes i do drugs
yes this website is stupid i just found the science part about what it actually does to your body (along with the diagram they had) kinda interesting
when drinking alcohol after doing cocaine or during it produces a special chemical called cocaethylene (spelling might be wrong), but i guess it's another way to get really ed up and if you think it actually helps you come down off coke it's all in your head (do some research on the subject - google or whatever)
besides that, cocaine is a hell of a drug and fun as but i think the medical implications should at least make you want to do it less frequently. |

well ANY drugs you do are friggin bad for you, c'mon now.
but i guess i didn't realize that coke and alcohol mixed in large amounts is THAT dangerous.

One of the primary dangers in taking either of these drugs by themselves is the chance of dehydration that could be dangerous. Together, the dehydration effect is compounded and the risk is higher. Further, MDMA decreases the body's ability to regulate body temperature, and alcohol can raise body temperature, increasing chances of death by hypertension. |

Man, threads like this never cease to amaze me.
I'm sick of the media attatching drugs with edm, and then edm artists, and fans going like "oh no they are wrong its about the music its blown way out of proportion. Most the people dont use drugs."
Get those ******s over here. EDM is about drugs, and thats all the integity it has to its name. Once all the drug ed clubbers hit their 30's they will get real jobs, quit going to clubs, and quit doing drugs. , if we're really unlucky we'll be seeing these people marrying and reproducing.
EDM will die, and what we'll have left is a handful of techno gnawers buying records, and pulling them apart together on their forums. The rest will be a small pocket of IDM listeners, who produce stuff on their ibooks.
Hey...look at that, things are already going that way.
Oh yeah, and red bull and all of these other energy drinks will be ing history. |

bla bla :p a little exaggerated...but whatever.
that's why i think it is imporant to still love rock-n-roll and hip hop. i go to this lounge in miami sometimes that plays older funky hip hop like A Tribe Called Quest and then some old rock-n-roll tunes too like def leopard...it's great:) i love that stuff. |
