| my mothers a dentist. she would tell you, get them bleached by a professional. they grind away the top layer of your tooth, very small though. it regenerates. but the top layer is the layer with the stains. once worn away, u got white teeth. little discomfort or non at all. your teeth may be a bit sensative after that, because of the nerve being stimulated so much, but that soon goes away. |

Neat, what's a reasonable price for such a procedure? |

yeah from pretty much when i was born till now, i've either been a fiend for apple juice, coffee or both
and now i smoke
and the funny thing is that since i've started smoking, i've become more obsessive about brushing and my teeth are noticably whiter :p |

I asked my mum on that. she said, she doesnt do it this way. instead, she would take an impression of your teeth, so that a tray can be made. and on that tray, you apply the bleaching solution, and u wear it for a certain amount of time, maybe at night or something. anywhere from 300 - 500 $$$$. maybe a bit impractical unless your teeth are horribly stained, but without cavity. |
