what?!??!?!!
I can't believe he is not coming back to BOA...not only do we all agree that Docks indeed IS 1/10th of the DREAM at BOA that night...but i was almost sure he loved BOA way more (his responses..comments..etc...)
i guess money is a driving force when it comes to bidniz.. :rolleyes: |

| Crowd capacity the Docks is needed simply because it is a lot bigger venue. Don't forget it's the long May 2-4 weekend the kickoff weekend to summer! :toocool: |

| You know what this always pisses me off. The great DJ's like Tenaglia always come during holiday weekends when I am usual at someone's cottage. |

Then maybe you should stop planning your holidays so early.
I always say that too much planning is worse than no planning at all. Gotta leave some room for spontaneity in there. |

I wasn't really expecting anything, more that I just wanted to see my friends that weren't doing the Armin thing. That is really the only reason I went. I didn't know much about Danny T, hadn't really figured out house, etc.

With u 100% RJ - didnt make that show cause of Armin, but hadnt
TRULY figured out/understood house yet....

Whilst some would argue that their experience of Danny was better at Boa ( I disagree , but then I work at the docks and since floorwhore works for Boa he would agree and so on)
But dude to suggest everyone would prefer Boa is a serious overstatement on your part. The poll shows 2/3 would prefer Boa , OK I can live with that , but the fact remainsd he is playing the docks
polls or arguments can't change that.
Danny enjoyed the vibe at BOA , but did not like the humidity the condensation rolling down the walls and the cramped dj booth (his words not mine)
Danny plays where he wants to and money is not the issue for him , as he would not play some venues no matter what they offer.
Sure money helps
The Docks dropped $5000 just on bring a mixer up (Phazon) for danny and consulted with Joe Lodi of AAR who designed Danny's personal DJ booth to design the booth at the docks for him.
If the venue is such an issue , why was last time a sellout.
And Finally I feel that its the DJ and the music that should motivate us , not the venue. nobody is forcing you to see him at the docks, if you don't like don't come . Me , I would go to any venue to see my favorite dj's and not be bitching about where but excited that I am seeing them |
