man... big djs, and huge nites

the best nites are the smaller intimate ones where u know half the ppl, and u can actually look at the dj and be like " i kno this guy, hes local, and im damn proud of supporting him"

smaller nites have more interaction.

i think we have enough good dj's in montreal that cater to everyones taste in music . trance prog, house, tech, you name it we got it

and you guys are always whining that noone plays any trance, but yet u guys never go out and support the trance talent that is a bit more underground in the small raves we have.

my 2 cents, but dont mind m,e im drunk

Marco G or Preach or JPX or Max Graham or Steve Lawler (1:30 - 3:00)
Nick Warren (3:00 - 7:00)
John Digweed (7:00 - 11:00)

bad thing here is that....

they dont have anything in common

:sadgreen:

Preach marco and jpx = hard stuff

Max = prog...

Lawler = tribal house

Warren = super mega prog...

and Digweed is hard to define...

so line-up would bring lots of people... but everyone would be there for their little part... some for techno.... or tribal.. pro ou some digweed stuff...

even if i think it was really good... when oakenfold was there with carola... lots of friends of mine whined cuz they said carola was too hard... and HE WAS NOT.... so imagine a line-up that brings all that types of stuff... people will die...

its fun to go up and down.... but too many variations in styles of music will kill youre night

thats why you dont put psy-trance and jazz in the same room ;)

still good choices... musicwise... but finding djs isnt too hard these days...

everybody wants to be a dj

the huge ammount of work is to bring them at the right time... not too often.... and organising nights that will bring people... but that will make them come back over and over in the future

thats promotion for me

:cool:
Wisnia
trance with trance
prog with prog,
techno with techno.

Armin with Ferry or Armin with Ornadel, or PVD with Armin etc,

Sasha and Digweed,

Craig Richards and Lee Burridge,

Marco Carola and Chris Liebing and Sven Vath and Preach so on.

Its these nights that are the best of the best because the right people go to them and noone will complain.
