Danny T @ Docks or Boa? (pg. 2)

I think this is just to see where everyone would prefer to see him. I doubt anyone honestly believes this would change anything. Plus, don't you think it's funny, after all the compliments Danny had about the Boa show, "something" magically pulls him into the Docks for the next 2 shows? :rolleyes: And the Docks have been around for ages in Toronto, yet I clearly remember him saying something along the lines of "the only reason I never came back to Toronto was because I didn't feel that there was a club suitable for me. Where I could really connect with the crowd"
Whatever though...I'm hoping to go see him at the Docks and thats that. |

Well in the that case - add "RJ's Backyard" to the vote list.
Personally I'd like have Danny T play at my BBQ. |

| danny played the docks because it was run by the industry crew. He said on the industry closing party 'I'll play for these guys, anywhere, anytime', and they got him because of that last october. |

Docks is a great venue...I'd be happy with him being there.
of course Boa is excellent too, but definitely not worth an extra $20-30 vs. the Docks.
Docks is bigger, has a liquor license, and the sound system isn't THAT much better at Boa to justify a $20-30 higher price.
Especially in the spring/summer...Docks OWNS Boa with that massive patio ;) |

I've seen him at both and preferred Boa but both nights were stupendous...

Ah... never mind, just saw the DT @ Docks thread... sweet! so there! I can't believe I'll be seeing him 3x in the span of 1 year!!! Hope I'm not working that weekend... :eek: :D |

I'm Danny T'd out. But if I decide to grace his performances again it will most definitely not be that god awful place called the docks. Yuckety yuck yuck yuck is all I have to say about that place out in the middle of no man's land.
