Had to be done, what Sly said in the other thread made me realise that we take swamper for granted. I mean, he doesnt get paid for doing this, its costs him alot of time and money to set this up, especially on the new servers. If i remember correctly TA forums crashed on Christmas Day for about four hours yet Swamper was working hard to get it back online so we can chat. And still after all this he still puts up with our and hes working on TA 2.0 aswell!
Now you can call me a brown-nose or whatever you want but you all know deep down that TA is usually the first thing you go to when you log onto a computer and you wouldnt be able to imagine the internet without it.
Swamper if you set up a pay-pal donation accout i will donate some money to you for new servers or booze :p or whatever once my paypal account gets sorted, and im sure many other people will. Even if its just a dollar, many people will give.

It's cool to come in C0R and see a thread like this - but - in all honesty - the simple fact you all come here and get something from it is reward enough for me. (Ok, some booze is nice too)
However, soon this place will need a new server - it'd be funny if I could set up a separate server just for C0R - the hardcore (& teh drunks) could pay for premium membership to ensure they never get the 'Too Many Connections' message as they post their wisdom for the masses to read. |
