Im kinda suprised tho, shouldnt it deacrease as the dollar do so?
Most worrying for the US tho is that asian banks are looking at alternatives for the dollar. That would screw up US big time i think?
Anyway, im off to Califonia tonight so im happy for a low dollar :p |

Yeah, being in the US with a non-dollar salary ticking in, there's happy days all around. It sure was nice of the americans to reelect Bush back in November. Who knows what kind of effect someone responsible could have on the exchange rate.
What puzzles me, is how long a currency needs to be valued low, before the low level is accepted as better reflecting it's worth than the previous high level? I mean, we keep talking about the "current low" of the dollar, but why not, the "highs" of the past? |
