Hello fellow TOTAS,
I'm working on a documentary film for kids at the moment which is filled with temp music that there is no way we have the time or money to get the rights for. We are currently seeking local music to replace it with that is representative of a seventies hippi-ish theme. The doc is about a group of teenage soccer players from the small town of Portland, Ontario: population 250, that are granted the opportunity to play the Gothia Cup in Sweden. Many of whom haven't travelled past Kingston.
It's garnered towards 9-12 year olds. The style is really exhuberant, a little MTV-ish. This is the style of music we are currently looking to replace:
The Who: Tommy, Pinball Wizard, Magic Bus
Queen: Bicycle Race, I want to break free
Blur
The Vines
Iggy Pop: Lust for Lfe
ACDC: Shoot to Kill
If any of you would like to get your music televised, or know of someone, we'd greatly appreciate you getting in touch by pm-ing me, or e-mail [email protected]. Interested parties will receive a credit on the doc. The Doc will air on TVO this year.
Cheers,

I'd offer to lend my musical talents, but the best i could muster would probably be some yodeling :p
