I've had their new release for about a week now, and it's not quite what I expected, but it's not a dissapointment either. It takes a little time to appreciate, which imo, is a good thing. It's definitely not a run-of-the-mill CD. The CD liner notes include the lyrics to every track, and are not in order of the track listing.
Musically, it's different and is more of a relaxing/chilling/low-key type of music. It does NOT reflect their big hits in any way. It reminds me of the first time I heard Everything But The Girl's "Walking Wounded" CD. There's some unique bass lines and synth lines, but nothing too incredible. There's much potential I think for great remixes. Lyrically, it's kind of serious and surely meaningful that can relate to many I think. I see that this is either a love or hate CD. If you are lyrically oriented, I think you'll really like it. The music seems to support Nadia's lyrics and incredibly nice vocals. Her voice is very pleasing to the ear.

| I got it by pre-ordering directly from Made Records. I think that public release is sometime this summer, but there's no confirmed release date, and if there is, don't expect it to arrive on that date. The pre-order was delayed multiple times... |

I had the "Runaway" vinyl pre-ordered through Made, and the release date was bumped back a couple times after I ordered. When I finally got it, I wasn't too impressed by it to be honest. The remixes promised to be "amazing" were in fact not so amazing. Frank Bailey Remix is OK, but other than that... :sadgreen:
As it turns out, the "amazing" remixes promised were on a different vinyl. The pre-order was really Runaway (Disc 3). The one with the "amazing" remixes is Runaway (Disc 1). :mad:
Don't get me wrong. I really like iiO's stuff. I paid $50 just for their whitelabel of "Rapture" (Armin remix). I also have the 2x12" of "At The End", the Universal release of "Rapture", and the 2x12 of "Smooth". I'm just not so impressed with "Runaway".
