| I am scared of most insects. That camel spider is unbelievable. :eek: But besides being scared of any animals, I am scared of needles. I would rather do a presentation in front of a group of people than get a needle or have blood work done. |

yea needles r scary too...
8 years ago i had an appendicitis and it "opened up" in my stocmach coz i didnt go to doctor for too long coz i just didnt even think that it could be the appendicitis and i was lucky i could die that day - they made me some serious surgery but it wasnt over there - i had to stay in hospital for a month and to get an injections 4 times a day when its like 3 different drugs each time [ i mean 4 X 3 = manyyyy drugs and many injections!!! O_O] :eyespop:
i must say after that "expirience" i hate needles by myself very very much... :( |

| i kind of meant animals... but thats ok. river rats are huge man, like 24-36" and then the tail is just disgusting. i had an incident with them when i was kid... etc, etc. |

Camel spiders can grow to be as large as dinner plates.
Camel spiders can traverse desert sand at speeds up to 25 MPH, making screaming noises as they run.
WTF!! screaming noises....yes i think the spawns of satan have been discovered!!
Altho it wud be fukin hilarious to see sumone being chased by a spider going 25mph while screaming(both the spider and the person) |

yeah well the screaming part is insane, can you imagine being 50ft away from that thing as it starts coming at you screaming?
i think between that & the fact that it eats chunks of flesh from soldiers as they sleep(becaues they have an numbing agent)... that we as a human race should make it extinct |

Not really scared of Animals at all...i admit when i was in a river in the US wearing shorts with the water up to my thigh and i saw a 4 ft snake start swimming through my legs i was scared.
Toronto Trance - You dont have to be scared of those, if they bite you you'll be dead within minutes and you'll be numb and paralysed pretty much withing 20 seconds or so. You should be scared of Boa Constrictors, they wrap around you slowly and each time you breathe out your diaphram gets smaller so he tightens his grip making it harder for you to breathe out, then when you slip into unconciousness it swallows you. Thats why we named the 16ft one we have at college "Cuddles". I remember reading a story of a soldier (i think in china or thailand) get constricted by a Huge 24ft Boa, it took 14 Soldiers with machetees 30 minutes to get the boa to stop trying to constrict the soldier!
My one phobia of animals are Bees, Wasps and Hornets because of childhood experiences and because i have never been stung. |

that camel spider thing is a load of whizz...altho I'm sure they are nasty things.
that pic has two spiders which makes it look more of a mess, and check the perspective. the things themselves are only a bit more than the width of the guys cuff (end of his sleave) who's holding it. they've got someone standing in the distance to make it look bigger.
i know for a fact though, that camel spiders like garage.
