The one I used, was passed down in my friends family (pretty weird family huh?), however, they keep it in the basement-locked up in a trunk. Secondly, the one we used was not designed like that; it's was homemade (supposably by witches). It was given to a family member as a gift (Which also supposably-if given as a gift, it's more powerful). It's a lil thick, not really, but it has weird symbols going around the sides of the whole board. (don't know if you get me). |

I sort of stand on the borderline when it comes to these things, I like to read about them and stuff and find it quite interesting and sorta belive but then another half of me just believes it can't be true and is quite skeptical.
One time me and a friend did that thing where you hook the camera up to a tv and point it at the tv so you get a picture inside a picture inside a picture etc. then zoomed in and out to try and get images (We saw it on some web site). We didn't see ! |

wanna know why it works?
subconscious mind. i believe its nothing more than that
another fun experiment working on the same principles:
take a blank piece of paper and draw a big circle on it. make a big x through it dividing it into quarters so you have one center point (doesn't need to be exact at all, don't worry)
now you can do this by yourself or with someone else. find a pendulum or make one. just take a piece of string and tie a washer to the end, or even just use like cord with something heavy tied/taped to the end. anything works really. now for whoever's actually doing it: have them hold their arm out above it holding the pendulum so the weight at the bottom's right above the center of the circle (don't let them rest their arm on it, best to do it standing up)
now have them swing the pendulum along one axis (i.e. straight towards them and away from them) and say repeatedly to themselves the word 'yes'
then do the same but along the other axis (left/right) and say 'no' repeatedly to themselves
next, have them rotate it clockwise around the center and say to themselves 'i don't know'
then, counterclockwise and say 'i don't want to say'
two things to keep in mind: we don't want like big huge swings
just enough so its moving a lil more than noticably. also, do each direction and repeating the words for like 10-20 seconds. just once might not work
now that you got all those movements associated with words, ask the person holding the pendulum simple questions
so like if they're 18, ask them if they're 18
try a few things like that, then questions that are obvious no's
all the while with them keeping the pendulum as still as they can above the center
due to a powerful and actice subconscious mind, when you ask them a question, the pendulum will start to move in the indicated direction that matches with the answer
so once you can verify it works with simple questions, then ask more revealing ones :p
only person i've had it not work on (including people who love this stuff and skeptics alike) was one guy who's a blackbelt and buff as hell, so he could just hold it perfectly still :(

I've never played it; I've always been a bit skeptical. That being said, my grandmother told me a story about how my uncle once had one of those boards. My grandmother didn't like it, so she took it out back and burnt it in a barrel. According to her, as it burnt it let out a really loud, high-pitched scream.
Dunno how true that is, though. |
