Edirol Orchestral Synth simple problem

How come when it gets to the end of the pattern in the piano roll for example, (fl5), and goes back to the beginning and loops, it plays in a higher key. Very strange, any suggestions?
Tech0rz
also, i have a whole list of instruments in the custom orchestra, but so far i've only been able to play the top one. How do i activate all the other instruments on the list.

If you want you can PM me and i'll give you my email so you can send me the FLP-file.
Before you do that, check automations and MIDI-settings.

I have the same problem.
DRM
yup i have both problems too
State of Matter
I only have the second problem. I think its an FL compatibility problem.

I think it might have something to do with how you use the instrument. Do you use MIDI-controllers to control it?
Tech0rz
I use the piano roll.

What i meant by activating the instruments in the list is, for example, if i wanted a violin, and a flute, and they are already in the rack, how do i go about using the 2 instruments ? Because as of yet i can only find a way to play the instrument at the top of the list. Thats the only one that comes through. I'm sure there must be a way other than cloning the plug in and then changing the top instrument. anyone?
Corteoz
Simple. All the different layers can be linked up to MIDI-channels.
Layer 1 (Flute) = midichan. 0
Layer 2 (Oboe) = midichan. 1

Here's soemthing that might help:

[ Inside FL ]
- Click "Channels->Add One->Orchestral"
- Click "Channels->Add One->MIDI out"
* Note: If you want, flute, piano and strings... Add 3 midi chans.
- Modify your Edirol settings to your preference.
- Inside the Orchestral VST, select port 0 (upper right).
- Go to "MIDI out" channel and check that the port is 0.
Then select a channel (0 is default, and will result in playing layer
1 inside the Orchestral.
- Just to understand what just happened, increase the channelnumber
inside the MIDI out box. You should now hear all the different
sounds inside Orchestral.

I didn't experience any problems with the FLP I got sent to me.
I got Edirol Orchestral 1.01 and FL Studio 5.0.1.

Thanks Corteoz, that did the trick. Although is that the usual way to do it? As i ended up having to rename each channel individually to the name of the instrument.

In regards to the instrument going into a higher key after the first loop. I noticed that, its only with the instruments that play 2 notes at once. For example, "Flute Vibrato", say i'm in the piano roll, i click a key on the keyboard, and 2 notes play together. I place a bar that lasts for one bar only, and press play, on the first time it plays the bar, it plays the bottom of the 2 notes, on the second time, it plays the upper of the 2 notes, then continues to play the upper. I can't get it to play the 2 notes at the same time like it should.

Anyone have any ideas about this one?

What FL and Edirol version do you use?
Try fiddeling around with settings inside Edirol.

Edit:
Yes, this is the way to work with that kind of VST's. You can do this with any VST, but it doesn't serve you any good unless you want to fiddle with many controllers at the same time.
Tech0rz
FL v5
Edirol 1.01

I will play around with the settings, not sure where to start tho. At the beginning i guess
