No, an AIFF file is a bitwise opposite of a WAV file. The 0s in the WAV file are 1s in the AIFF and the 1s in the WAV file are 0s in the AIFF. There is not really a reason to convert from WAV to AIFF.
AIFFs was the default sound format for Macs while PCs used WAV. |
