luv the topic. two snaps up!:o
here's one of my paintings that i own. devotional art? its a rendition of the vigin mary with a dagger in her heart and i believe is from the 19th century. the virgin is also called 'Virgin de los Dolores' translated to 'Virgin of Pain', hence the dagger in her heart.
