mmmm....rich, warm pads! Very nice intro.
Takes off too! I like your synth selection...its gonna be pretty good! I'd think of altering the melody a bit...it just doesnt sound like a lead melody...fine to start but sounds as if a bigger melodic layer needs to go over top as the song progresses.
Keep it up!;) |

sounds good, nice melody, very uplifting, but it needs another layer, possibly another sub-melody or a driving energetic lead to pump the track up a notch (i know it was another TA producer who used the sample I'm thinking of but can't place it at the moment.. off the top of my tired head closest I can think of would be paul moeland's re:locate guise style but that's not right) |

agreed, with Greg, about the track,
it definitely needs another layer for some more drive, i would also try experimenting a bit more with the bassline, maybe try adding a driving subbass or something, i like the pads btw, excellent work, the track has some really nice warm chill, just work a bit more on the eqing / mastering side, and this track can be really good, mate...
also maybe try adding some female aahh's or ohh's to the track to some places, it would work good, maybe...
keep up the good work, mate:)
cheers,
Peter:) |
