Derivative quote: Could someone plz help me and explain to me how a track is built... seriously this question is so vague i dont know where to start. there are no rules to building a track. you got a copy of fl studio? or reason? or something? like a sequencer? well read the manual for a start. use google for some tutorials and see how it goes after a few weeks. then post more specific enquiries here. AudioGuru as for the arrangment, if you want it to be dj friendly-.... if you're just starting out, it's good practice to mimic an arrangment of a song you like, nothing wrong with that.(if there was, then all radio music would be in trouble). but the great thing about dance music is that it's not really meant to be radio friendly, so any arrangment you want is cool just as long as people dig the music.
