Hey guys, I've been a little afraid to post a track on here. You guys have some really great stuff! Hope you can appreciate my humble skills.
Here's the latest trance track my partner Don Bradbury (Singing Crane - see soundclick.com) and I composed:
"Dreams" - produced with FL Studio 5.0

(Hi-fi and lo-fi streaming or MP3 download)
Feedback/reviews/criticism is very welcome! :)

dunno, sounds to "mp3.com-ish".... sounds like anyother trance track posted. sounds a lil dry to me... and gets a little boring for me, should be a bit shorter.
other than all that, good job :), not bad for a beginner track imo.

| I liked the overall melody...better than any song I've ever came up with. :) |

I like the bassline so far....
the clap is always sweet(I don't care what anyone says)!
nice tention building
could use some more percussion though
sounds like just kick and clap so far
now the bassline seems kinda plain(2:30)
Nice breakbeat(gotta love those)
the levels seem slightly out of balance, maybe it's just me
kinda a lot of breakdowns, I'd get rid of one of the two short ones in the beggining(or just make it like a kick drop for a measure)
Overall, it doesn't sound bad. but it could use more layer(ones that don't "take the stage", just to fill in the gaps)
Keep up the good work.
p.s. the fadeout isn't very dj friendly |

Oh, I don't mean for it to be a dancefloor tune! :) I compose trance for listening. I'm going for the 'dream trance' or Ambient trance genre I think.
Thanks for everyone's comments! |

| sounds really beginer/fruityloops at first, but then progreses quite nicely, it doesnt strike me, but its not painfull to my ears either, i would listen to this again- not much i can say right now cause i'm not in an analytical mood- but keep working and i'm sure you will progress- sounds a bit dated now but i bet if PVD released a track like this back in 2000 it would go over well... |

| I used albino and alot of delay and distortion! :) Yeah, I think some changes could be made to the arrangement. I've been thinking of that all day! Thanks man. :) |
