I'm so glad that many here agree with this. Here in the American deep south, the blind religiousness is suffocating. Atheists and agnostics are treated like some sort of social disease that must be cured. Ironic, really.
In America in general, should you openly deny religious leanings, you're pretty much out of running for political office. Sad and rather disturbing. |

imo, god was a dick who changed w/ peoples feelings on what he should be. unless god had a change of heart (but he knows everything, so why would he :rolleyes: ) then i think that he should still be the megalomaniacal egotistic dick that he used to be. at least then i'd know. all these loopholes to get you to believe in the possibility such as being able to love god w/out ever having seen him. why wouldnt he want to meet me :( .

are u talking about the christian god? what will belief in hope get u? ide rather believe a gnostic viewpoint than something as mediocre as hope being able to rescue u from your problems. |
