didnt really meet too many new TA's that i hadnt met before.
was a great idea to have a TA & Friends party in the side room beforehand, which should be done more often if the possibilities arise.
Benny. great job on the decks...
johnston was good.. not as good as TT in my opinion, however she did add Mercury & Solace which was a great touch..

Apologies, the intent was there to come to this, (and I was going to pay as well ;) )... I didnt end up coming though, I was at Avalon till about 11:30 last night and flew out early this morning, I didnt know if there was any easy way to get from Avalon to Hawthorn that late after a few beers (would have to take public transport :nervous: ) and back in the morning... Would've been sweet to meet all of you, sounds like you all had an awesome time!
P.S. The planes were frikkin awesome!! Awesome week! Got some bloody awesome photos too!! |

someone did however come up and talk to me and i have not the faintest idea who it was, never seen them in my life :o
the night was pretty good we ended up having dinner at some cubian place on elgin st, then went to drag a friend out of bed to come with us. I was ready to kill my friends within 5 minutes we walked into room and the complaints started from there. "the music is tonight"
"its too crowded" "im tired" "can we go soon" "what times jan on" "how long will she sing for" :rolleyes: ARGH they were quite happy when she walked out altho the comment from the dykes was "she looks 60 yrs old" :haha: must admit she doesnt have the best voice, probably from sucking tijs' too much ;)
and the best quote goes to soups "its like watching a strip show without her taking off her clothes" :haha: i've never seen someone so aware of people taking photos of them, she fkn loved the camera :p
And of the night goes to the security guard, like you couldnt see that one coming from a mile away, he wouldnt let the ITM guy take photos even when he showed him his pass his comment was "that means all to me" :eek:

Jan Johnson is like a ballerina or sumfing, kicking off her heals and floating around, joint was pumping as she started, skydive kicks in and everybody is happy.
Had fun PLaying some progy trancey stuff with ben (who ripped it) and some housey stuff with adam holden. fun fun...

jan johnston went off! was better than i expected. glad i saw her cause missed TT.
anomyst played some good tunes in the side room! i was impressed!
and vi, that chances of you seeing me dance like that ever again are slim to NIL! |

good to finally meet you guys in person, sorry if i was a bit full on but with my new glasses i feel much more confident-like. to my twin bro gerry, props to you for clearing things up whenever any asked if we were related (ok, it was just me that asked). soups, you're funny. a little pyschotic, but funny. cheers to the JPL for hookin us up and playin a tops set (gettin that song now btw ;) ) and awesome work by benny first time up there too (a little disappointed no SHOKK :confused: ) paul, you're soft. more so than usual. |
