The Darkside
Hello one and all

if any of you dabble in a bit of breaks while mixin up your trance flavas this vocal breaks track might interest you.

My track 'Give It Up' uses the vocals of Andrea Britton who has just had recent success suppling the vocals for DT8 Project's 'Winter'

Here are all the details on the release on Sinister Recordings is a double A side.

Fresh from Sinister for 2005 comes a double A, introducing two new signings into the fray in the shape of Norwegian act Molo Mekaniske and London-based Jay Rodriguez.
A: Jay has teamed up with chart-topping vocalist Andrea Britton to provide us with sub-laden Tech-Breaks number - Give It Up. With Andrea's melodic vocals already having done the rounds on a previous release for 3 Beat, Rodriguez takes the Breaks route and lays them snugly onto a moody roller that positively hums with low frequency rumblings and butter-slicing beats, created with engineering aid from none-other than the Future Funk Squad.

AA: Molo Mekaniske have more than proven their worth with releases on labels such as Chi & Planet Noise and with future productions out on Intrinsic's new Breaks imprint, so Sinister have snapped up Molo's latest effort as they unleash an altogether more leg-trembling number - Ghost In Stereo. Heavily built around haunting Strummer-esque vocal samples, this track is chock-full of percussive attitude and tekkie atmospherics that will have the other records in your box running for cover. Like Mike Tyson this chugger is big, dark and aggressive, not for the faint-hearted…!

For Audio clips on both tracks check out the Sinister website at

Promos are also now available now from the likes of Streetwise and Juno

The full release date on the is 28/03/05

Cheers

Jay
