Ok time for some sleep, spent the last 24 - 25 hours getting this one together. alot of old trance in this one, some new and a little bit of everyting. hopefully you guys enjoy this one....
and now on to the formalities
The Points System:
There are 50 samples to identify. You get 1 point for guessing the correct artist, title or remix. So, if it's a remix of a track, you can earn 3 points, otherwise : 2 points. An example : Let's say I included a sample of Junkie XL - Breezer (DJ Tiesto Remix). Here's a list of possible answers and how many points each answer gets :
- Junkie XL - ?? -> 1 point
- ?? - Breezer (DJ Tiesto Remix) -> 2 points
- Junkie XL - Beauty Never Fades (DJ Tiesto Remix) -> 2 points
- Junkie XL - Breezer (DJ Tiesto Remix) -> 3 points!
In case of an Original Mix or a Radio Edit, you don't have to mention it, there won't be extra points then.
The competition starts today March 15th, 9 am (Eastern time). You have one month to submit your answers and can either do this by e-mail at [email protected] , or the prefered method of PM. The deadline for submission is April 15th at 12:01 am (the night of the 14th). I will post the answers April 16th in the morning. You may alter your list and submit it as many times as you wish.
DOWNLOAD THE ZIP CONTAINING THE 50 SAMPLES HERE
Remember to mention your TA name if you use e-mail.
Please dont post your answers in here.

Eeeesh ... some of these tune ARE ABSOLUTELY OBVIOUS ... NOT the fact that I know them ... eeeshhh ...I'll refrain for saying which ones, but people know
Lots of trance anthems here, I remember the names of at least 4 tracks after the first listen.
I am bad with names, cant remember the names (but I know I have them) of several tunes here ... ugh,
ID36 was remade by *secret*... hehe
ID37 been awhile since I heard this classic, gonna be a bugger to remember the name of ...
ID45 - one of my favourite trance tunes I ve heard. I have no idea what the name is, so I have to look at a specific liveset I have a good clue about, hehe ..
I cant believe it - a ONE house track, just one ... terrible ... :disbelief: and even that track was absolutely obvious, hehe
Nice way to end the contest with a beautiful classic that PVD used to play a lot in early 1990s
