What is the difference between a Rebounce and a regular remix?

I got this question from a mate but I dont know the difference..What is the difference between a Rebounce and a regular remix?

i don't it's something similar.. rebounce sounds more like bounce the mix again. and bounce means only rednering..

bouncing in logic is when you save particular sounds of a song.. or the whole song..
reboucing seems to me if you were resaving it with the adjusted effects

for exsmple
you bounce a kick loop
and have the .wav of it
then you put it back in the song
.. when its back in the song
you ..edit volume and pitch,
then... you bounce it again
to save it

this would save up space for certain instruments in your song.. i could be totally wrong though!! :p
