This survey is also done by a swiss company and guess what? The top 2 cities are swiss.
Kind of makes me question the bias of this "study" |

I totally agree. I mean people practically sleep with their home doors open. When we were there we accidentally left our car door open for 3 days. We had mp3 players and a lot of electronics and luggage in the back seat. No one took anything.
No real party life their but quality of life is way better there than TO...it's more peaceful and people wave to you on the street.
Fat chance I'll ever see that happen in TO.
So I think I'll go with my gut instinct and say that Ottawa fairs better than TO and prolly better than Vancouver. Though BC has some awesome weather during our winters. |

Couple of my buddies went to Ottawa and left their bags with all their stuff in the car...car got broken into all bags gone...try telling them that :haha: :stongue: although serves them right, who leaves all their stuff like taht for all to see :p |

COnsider also that Ottawa has had organized crime rooted within the city for quite a while.

I guess, but size being a factor comparative to other Canadian cities. As far as other world cities go, TO is more in the lower-middle range of population count. Either way, I think it's a pretty safe city, except that lately everyone seems to be developing some kind of attitude problem. |

hmmmm must of been out of towners that robbed your buddies. Our car had some pretty valuable stuff and it was parked right on a main street with lots of traffic.

Where :nervous: I was there for over a month and there was nothing there. No casino's or big clubs, or all night bars. The bars closed up at 1am. How could any organized crime survive there? How would they even make any money? :conf:

I'm only reiterating from the experiences of others. Personally, I have no idea. I imagine the Hells Angels would probably have something to do with it. |
