the killers, franz ferdinand, and modest mouse didn't come before emo...but you're right about all the "the" bands |

what are you talking about .. that is the truth .. they were the 'hot' bands back then .. the ones everyone were talking about .. well that's all i can think off right now .. i am not talking about the culture as a whole (i see emo has really degrading the value of alternative rock and metal as of late .. ) .. i am just listing who were the best bands back then .. | emo is a direct descendant from that nursery ryhme about the spider that went up the water spout & down came the rain & washed the spider out & up came the sunshine & dried up all the rain, & the incy wincy spider started to cry because the rainbow was beautiful & it made his heart all warm yet empty at the same time. |
