Review: Donald Glaude at System

Got there at around 11 and was surprised how busy it was.
Jelo was on and was playing hard and awesome, I've never seen him before but he was fun to watch, really got into it.
Glaude came on around 1245 I think.
He didn't waste any time either and was dropping some tracks.
I was sorry to have to leave early, but had to restrain myself so I can get through this week for Lawler on Friday.
Nice to party with the TA's that I saw there.
Hope to see you again on Friday. |

Had an awsome time. Me, Larissa (preppie chick), Tessa and Cuzo pilled into miss K's car and got there around 11:30ish?. Both djs played good sets. Lovely seeing some familiar faces, and meeting new ones.
Good thing i do not have class until later today, maybe ill get some good sleep. :toothless |

Furious stuff from Jelo and Donald Glaude...
A little too relentless for me, but damn it sure was fun listening to them tear up. More to come later...gotta class to sleep through in about 4 hours. |

Harder and harder!
Donald Glaude tore up proppa.
I appreciated the chance to pogo to 'Song 13'
Wierdest moment of the night:
First trip into the loo; I'm washing my hands.
Guy pulls up at the sink to my left and immediately starts to look up his nose, rub around the nostrils. God knows what for. ;)
I glance over. I guess he was feeling dirty about it, or maybe the coke was giving him the 'noids, but I got the dirtiest eye from him.
It's only natural to glance over. If you're going to do nose drugs so nonchalantly, don't freak when someone turns their head.
I guess I should look at it from his eyes. I look like a cop no matter how dilated my pupils are -the size, the clean-cut side part. Hey, I have an image to maintain.
Oh well.
Saw Cuzo briefly, chewed Endlesswave's ear off. Emory was leaving when I met him, so I guess a lively session of 'babble' wasn't in his plans.
Geez, every time I go out, I say to myself: "I'm just going to put my head down and dance tonight" I end up chatting.
Crazed Canuck, dallastar, Hordash were on my rounds as well. There's one more TA, but I can't recall his name. It was an abbreviation or something.
Hope to see most of you at Decadence II.

I was in around 10:05. The place filled up rather quickly. The music in the lounge was good at first, but after the main room opened I spent the rest of my night there. Never heard of Glaude before, but it turned out to be quite good. A little different from what I usually listen to, but change is good sometimes.
It was great seeing a number of TAs that I haven't seen in awhile, as well as meeting quite a few new ones.
Turned out to be a good tuesday night for me. Wednesday morning at work after 2 hours of sleep is another story LOL! |

So awesome to have met more T.A.'s last night (MaxTO, Preppiechick & Voodochild)...had a great time: danced my ass off. Donald was wicked - but not long enough :) What was with the music in the front room to start the evening off - a very strange combo?

Man, I wish I was there, the last time I saw Donald and
Jelo together was last year and it was pretty good too bad
