SoBe was BUSY tonight. Lots of Spring Breakers already down here. Blue was busy when I got there but eventually died down. I stayed sober...and regret it. Whatever. There's always next time. Music was....er....Eric started with some housey that had me  Sorry man, but I wasn't feeling it. Took about 45 mins. before he got into the trance effect, and it brought me back to life for a while before I decided to bail. Sorry 'bout not saying good-bye to everyone (Mike, Funk and everyone else.)

^That was my review.

And at last, pics.

Smashley on the bar:

And last but def. not least, Eric behind the decks.

Woweee!!! What a night!

It started off with a nice dinner at sushi rock with Natalia, nice time! Had some sake and sapporos and lots of sashimi and tuna tataki...yummy (plus tiger eyes-> funk's secret japanese dish) Then we headed to Blue...we met Eric, Vampress, Darkangel and Relik at the door and were goofing there for a while. Birthday boy Andrew Chibale showed up and I threatened to get him drunk with tequila he accepted, deal was on...

Hyppe kicked things off with his very peculiar style, breaks and beeps and boinks...good shyte!!! (nice talking to you Hyppe) I caught the last 1/2 hour of the set, the transition to Eric basically...and I have to say it went pretty smooth...no animals were hurt in the process...nice!

I saw lots of familiar faces and there were also springbreakers, some nice kids from Alabama and some other kid from Jersey...all nice people. It was fun hanging out with the beautiful people...CP and TA's were out in a decent numbah...Ashley and friend Connie, Felicia, Michael, Darkangel, Natalia, Relik, Justin Johnson, Koky, Vampress, Andrew Chibale and some kid named Groove Eric ...I'm a bit fried, but I bet you get the idea...the night was classic, everyone was having a great time and the music played had lots to do with it...both Hyppe and Eric did an amazing job and the crowd responded with lots of booty-shaking action...personally I did some karate and some tai-chi (wtf?) Ashley and her friend Connie (visiting from Kentucky) were dancing up a storm up on the bar for a while, it's always nice to see Ash dance (always nice hanging out with Smashley)...pure flow...if it's from Kentucky, it must be finger lickin' good, ya hear me?

Michael had a bottle and the full set-up at the VIP, so we set up camp up there and basically had a bird's eye view of the party, lots of drinkies were being served and chugged...I worked up a pretty decent buzz for a tuesday, good times!

Que viva la joda!!!

Review sounded better than mine, for sure. Then again, I was tired and sober when I wrote it. Glad you had fun, man. Good to see Koky again after how many weeks of being AWOL, haha.

If life seems jolly rotten, There's something you've forgotten,
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps, Don't be silly chumps.
Just purse your lips and whistle. That's the thing.
And...Always look on the bright side of life.

He played a breaks version of Force of Gravity. I IDd it VERY quickly. A little hard and brash set but not all that bad.
