University of Maryland Electronic Dance Music Club Takeover
The University of Maryland Electronic Dance Music Club (um-edmc.com) and its
affiliated radio show, The Breakdown, on WMUC-88.1FM are teaming up to bring
a diverse selection of electronic music to the front room of Cubik. The
EDMC and The Breakdown use the University of Maryland and its radio station,
WMUC, to spread electronic music to the UMD student body and greater DC
area. BRING A VALID COLLEGE ID FROM ANY SCHOOL AND RECEIVE REDUCED
ADMISSION BEFORE MIDNIGHT.

turned into a visual wonderland.
ASTRIX [HOM-mega Productions | Israel]
Astrix, Avi Shmailov from Israel, is one of the biggest headliners in the
psytrance scene. His fist pumping and uplifting grooves have established him as
one of the must-hear electronic musicians of this decade. Astrix has
collaborated with Infected Mushroom and his most recent album, Artcore, has been
called the top psytrance album of 2004. Avi has headlined countless festivals
all over the world, including the legendary Full Moon Festival in Germany.

With his popularity spreading like wildfire, Cyzum (pronounced psy-zum), is
arguably the top psytrance DJ in America. His tracks are in regular rotation by
world-class DJs such as John 00 Fleming and Dimitri. He's the label DJ for
Soular Records and through Konvocation psytrance events, he has helped to
permanently implant psytrance in America.
