Your routine to stay late at the club!

i guess i'm more of a daytime person, but in order to stay late at the club (ie. energy passed 3am) i need to take a 2hr-3hr nap permitting on time at nite, have a shower and take 2 redbulls. with that routine i can usually stay til 6am or later depending on how good the music is (on the drive home, i usually still feel somewhat wired from the redbull, just enough to prevent an accident ;) ) if not, i'll prolly be dead tired by 330-4am.
whether it be drugs, redbull, or a natural high...what are your secrets/routines to staying late at the club (ps. also say how late you stay on a typical nite) |

| Well lets see... after being at work all day... (7am-7pm) i go home have a quick cold shower... throw on my NEWR shirt and jeans then head to pick callie up... normally upon arrival i will drink 2 Red Bulls with Mandarin Vodka then wait for the energy boost... at the end of the boost i normally feel good enuf to dance until about 3-4 am... if i am going to be dosing (whether it be coke, speed or E) i normally dose at about 1:30-2:00 that way im feeling good by 2:45-3:15 that normally keeps me going until about 6-9am... if i have to work again in the morning I'll dose again at 4:45am and have a redbull before I leave the club... on the way to work ill stop and get 3 redbulls to keep me going thru the day... but a cold shower and my NEWR shirt can normally get me pumped enuf to get me going for 24-30 hours awake or 14-18 hours of pure dancing (with minimal breaks) |

I don't usually do anything out of the ordinary before a big night. I almost always work a 9 hour shift before hand, have a couple hours between to spare and such. I can usually last from 9pm-6-7am without being beat up too much. Then I go home (sleep on car ride back) and sleep for anywhere from 4-6 hours at home.
I then get up and go in for a 5-8 hour shift at work :whip:

| Ive got a routine i stick to pretty much every Saturday night. I work until 6:00pm, go home, eat dinner. Then finish off my guestlist by 8pm, try to hop in bed for 9pm. Sleep for 3-6 hours, depending on when i want to start off my night. Have a quick shower to clear the cobwebs, hit up the Esso for a couple of Redbulls, and pound those puppies on the way to TO. |

AAaaahhh the Esso...good times...LOL. Before AND sometimes after right? For some Gatorade? A good COLD red one..haha!
For me? I always try and nap...which RARELY happens...so if I can't nap, I can go till 2-3 with just one Redbull. Energy starts to drain...chill for half an hour, have another Redbull and I can go till prolly 5-6.

nice, so yours is pretty similar to mine...for the drug free ppl like me i find this works pretty well...the combination of a nap, shower, and redbull work wonders to your alertness levels in the night. |

Ive never had a problem (save for once at Guv but that was bc i got 3 hours sleep Thurs. night, and like *maybe* 4 hours sleep on friday night... and BOTH those nights i was plastered outta my mind!)
I always stay till the very bitter end at Guvy... i simply just cant leave till Mark finishes rippin' up!
I used to drop, which ofcourse feeds the machine, but ive been cutting back, so lately ive been drinking 2 or 3 redbulls instead (im not sure how much they actually help tho...) If the music is owning me (ie. trance especially) and im there w/ all my friends and we're all having a killer killer time, thats all the "rush" i need to be able to make it to the very end!
Being too tired or achey has never been much of a problem for me. And even if i do get sore, i just ignore it, bc that usually dont happen till around 5 or 6 am, and at that time, its only 2-3 hours till Guv would shutdown, whihc is totally doable to stick it out! |

Naps kill me and the rest of my night. (when i awake i feel so disoriented and grogy... adn i never seem to recover from that!) ya, so i never nap... im on board w/ the whole red bull thing tho! :D |

12:15 AM: Party.
No, I'm kidding, the best schedule for me is to sleep from 6 to midnight, then hit up the club at 1ish (that's for a marathon night at Boa). If I do that then I don't even need the caffeine. If it's a drug-free night and I want a bit of a buzz then I'll sometimes mix two red bulls with a generous amount of vodka, which usually provides the fuel to tear it up 'til noon.
2-3 hour naps are pointless for me, they don't help me stay awake for the rest of the night and dramatically increase the possibility that I won't go out at all (by virtue of not waking up when I'm supposed to - this happened on the second NYE marathon day). |

Oh yea, i forgot about the little chill sessions. If im not dropping e*bomb(s) then I try to chill out and sitdown w/ friends for short peridos of time thruout hte night, maybe 10mins ever 2-4 hours, or if we all all feeling like we just wanna do some chatting, i may even sit around somewhere for a 1/2 hour.
these really are great to let ur body get its stamina back up so u can plow thru the night and stay till MO turns his decks off! |

| Nap for a couple hours, get into a car or ttc, pound a redbull down, get to the club, pound another redbull down and off i go... The music and the vibe keeps me going until close. |

I always try to sleep for an hour or so at some point in the evening.
then...it's usually either MDMA or a combo of beer, Rev & pot to participate until 6-7am or later ;) |
