Quick question:
I am looking to buy a card so I can plug my keyboard into the comp to do some mixing. Now, I need a midi hook up and was looking at the M-audio brand cards.
So, anyone in the know: Whats the difference between the M-Audio 24/96 card and the significantly higher priced M-Audio 192 card? :conf:
kthxbye :p

| as you can read on the m-audio site, the 2496's samplerate can go up to 96 khz,and the 192 can go up to 192 khz,and the higher the samplerate the higher the playback quality is |

| to be perfectly honest, you probably dont need 192 khz. most people cant tell the differece. so for starting out, id get the 2496. and if you need to upgrade down the road, you will probably end up buying a motu roack or something. im sure the 2496 will be fine for you. |
