Question about CDJ-800

I've been looking for this everywhere but can't find it.

What are the smallest pitch increments (in percentage) on CDJ-800?
Cheetah86
0.05% at the smallest range.
beats and beeps
0.05 on it.

If you need 0.02 the cdj200 will be out soon and it has 0.02, also the denon dns3000 has 0.02.

Hmm... That's odd. I thought CDJ-800 had smaller increments than 200. Is it worth waiting for 200 or is it a good idea to get 800, if money is not a problem in this decision.
beats and beeps
It depends on whether or not you want 0.02.
Inertia
the CDJ-200 will basically be an 800 with +/-0.02% pitch increments and no vinyl emulation. in other words, a lot more practical for trance DJs, as most don't scratch.
mndeg
no cool zabiela tricks? :(
Inertia
sadly, no.

i want 1000Mk2s. of course, i can't afford em. so, even though the 200 seems a lot more practical than the 800, given it comes out at a cheaper price, i'd still prefer the 800 just to experiment with turntablism. even if i never use it, I WANT TO LEARN TO SCRATCH.

Damn, if they have no vinyl mode, then it is a no-no for me. That is how I am used to cueing.
beats and beeps
I would be more concerned about being able to hold a mix for a long time, rather than avoiding learning to cue in a new way.

Not that you cant hold a mix with 0.05, but I will tell you I do notice quite a difference between the 0.05 on the cdj800s that I own now, compared to the 0.02 on the denons that I previously owned.
