I've gotta say it's in the 6/10 range... I personally like the look and feel of your old design better. I found v4.0 to be squished (perhaps to consider lower resolutions??), the menu system is a GREAT idea.... but again, everything just seems to be squeezed in there which creates a LOT of wasted space around the page. Some of your other sites actually look better than your company site (which should never be the case). With your colour scheme and layout, there really isn't much depth to the page... no complexity in the images or the overall feel of the site is rather bland. There's nothing new and exciting that hasn't been done MANY times in the last 5 years...
Anyways, I don't mean this as a slam or disrespect... but just from one (ex)designer to another... this is a little feedback from my experience... You need something that really stands out in people's minds... something that puts you a cut above the competition. If you wanna break into the business you need a site that says "I am the best and if you want THE BEST site for your company, you MUST pick me"... companies need confidence that they're getting what they pay for and that their site is cutting edge. IMO, there's nothing in this page that would prove this to me...
I hope you take this feedback with an open mind... web design and graphics are a learning process... so I hope you take this to heart and not as a personal attack. :)
suggestion... in your photography section, maybe some thumbnails of the pics?
Cheers! |

Really clean. I like it. seems a little bit too constricted though, as if you are trying to fit too much into a small box.
One thing I noticed, if you click on any of the headings, say .:portfolio, then instead of selecting one of the subgroups, just roll off, the text goes white and you cant read it. I don't know if thats done on purpose or accidental, but it would probably be something you would want to change. |

Which browser are you looking at the website with? |

I think its alright for a website, but for a professional website, especially a web designer of all professions, you should be showing off your web design skills by maybe adding in some flash or something or making it a bit more unique and cool. *shrug*
...then again though it does say "minimilistic" at the top :D so oh well
several of the links don't work though. I know on one or two pages I clicked on "home" and it brought me to www.apple.com and some other links didn't work too. |
