Actually I think my life would be in many ways surprisingly similar under those circumstances.
My first serious relationship ended only because I had decided that I wanted to go away to college rather than stay in the same general area. If I had not made that decision, it's quite likely I believe that we would indeed still be together today. I would at this point most likely be spending my days largely sitting around doing nothing, which is pretty much what I'm doing today, as I would be waiting for her to graduate so that we could relocate to somewhere other than the despicable wasteland that is Buffalo. |
