k so i want to buy a reasonably good mp3 player.. the one i have now is good i like it but only 128mb.... i would like to have something with at little over 1G if not even 5G or so... the ipod mini is on my mind to get... but i'm wondering is there something better or cheeper or is there any place where i could get a better deal on one...
i dont need anything bigger then 20 G bc i think thats too much unless i really wantto use it as a hardrive... but i doubt it i just like the music...
all in all i'm just wondering is the ipod my only choice? or is there something better...
anyinfo and help on what i could get will be greatly appreciated...
ps if anyone has any info or experience with the zen? i think its called sorry not too sure.. but ya... plzz and thank you |

I have an iPod mini and I love it to death. A few other people I know who have it love it too. The only downsides are that I think the battery life is a little short, but I haven't tried any other mp3 players; they might all just have short battery life. Otherwise the mini is definitely the sleekest-looking mp3 player and has the coolest colors available, IMO.
Btw, your TA map for NYC is waaay out of date! :D |

Creative zen micro would also be an option.
Personally I think Ipod is WAY overrated and it is not as good as everyone says. And the battery sucks. the micro has 12 hours, while mini has 8. micro also got an fm radio, 1gb more (a total of 5gb) and you can syncronise it with outlook, make adrsesses etc. It would surprise me if it was cheaper too! |

Rios are good ... execellent sound quality and software and they look good and are very small ... but IMHO ... it's just personal preference as to which one you settle on |

I got IRiver H320 from BestBuy for 216$.
This has
(1) picture support
(2) support ogg, wma (copy protected too), mp3 (No Flac support)
(3) Radio (FM only)
(4) Picture Viewer
(5) Text Viewer, good for E-books
(6) Total 18 GB H/D available - can act as an external H/D too, no drivers required
(7) Lithium Ion battery
The only prob is that the navigation feature is not so cool as IPOD but if you compare rest of the features its worth a buy.
Moreover, you can flash the bios too:
I flashed mine and can play divx movies on a 2x2 screen (Flashing bios removes the copy protected music support and the clock) more on misticriver.net |
