| Wots the bets way to get that haunting vocal quality on vocals? The two examples I think most demonstrate wot I am talking about are Motorcycle - As the rush comes (female) and Ben Lost - jump the next train (Male). Wot are the best VST's and wot settings do I need to use to get that lush ethereal feel? Any help would be most appreciated. |

| I don't suppose the singer would have anything to do with it? |

Obviously! But if u took the singers bare unprocessed voice it wouldn't sound anything like wot you hear on these two tracks. I guess I just want to know wot the best fx are on trance vocals really. |

i don't agree with that.. especialy with As the rush comes.. i do beleive thats her voice.. sure there are eq, reverb and delay effects.. but it's no trick.. thats how she sings... |

Yep, that's how she sings and usually it sounds crap (imho) but on atrc it sounds perfect :) |

| I remember listening to the acapella of 4 Strings - Take me away a while ago and it still sounded great but just a little thin as it was I raw vocal track i'm pretty sure. But it still sounded the same as the vocal mix just without reverb :) All in the singer dude!!! |
