working saturday's suck!!! Unless...
Well I am at work on a Saturday night - and the only damn radio station that comes in is 104.5fm Chum y! lol - so I am boppin away at the keyboard - doing a concierdge book all over again (20 pages of pure bull) Anyone else out there working tongiht??
The bonus of todays shift is I bought a CDP-Cx200 sony jukebox! I bought it from a resident whom lives in my retirement residence - it is posh toronto area and they are all Rich ass!!! woohoo!
guess how much I bought it for!??
$5.00 - yes five dollars!
**I had to ask my manager to make it all legit - b/c i am walkin' on broken glass here - and I wouldn't wanna lose my "not" so precious job! - BUT the only way it would be legit is if there wasa receipt signed by both her and I! btu it had to be for a realistic amount such as 20 to 30 dollars ; and the ol' lady friend had no problemo lying!!! woohoo!!! I am super excited to go home tongiht! hook this biatch up to my stereo! insert 200 CD's!!
I also found out last night - when I turned on the good ol' boob tube that I have channel 1 to 75 of cable - and to my roomies and my knowledge we didn't order it - but that hush hush ok!!!
So yeah - I am workign on a sataurday - I have a busy night ahead of me of pluggin' in - but all shoudl go well!

u cant complained. i worked 12 hours from 10 am to 10pm in a popular restaraunt. i got a 30 minute lunch break at 3pm and thats it. by 7, it had felt like i had ran 10 miles. i was doing a million things at one time, restaraunts are very busy places. but tips do you good. :)
i got the day off today for working hard and working more than i should have. i usually go home at 6. but they had just opened for nighttime hours(its a lunch place), and they were short staffed, so they asked me to stay, which i did and i get a share in the tips.
short staffed means a hiring business for those living in tampa who are unemployed;) |
