I remember my first visit to Crobar and it was kind of lame at the time. There was this huge guy just flexing in the middle of the dance floor for about an hour. Just like a stature. Very strange!! It really depends upon the night, DJ, etc. Typically, it's light years ahead of Avalon or Spirit. Man the crowd for Armin at Spirit royally sucked in my opinion.
There are a few events that the crowd sucks extra at Crobar. Those to me are Deep Dish and John Digweed. A lot more men, a lot more roided up meatheads, a lot more aggression. And of course any that's 18+ |
it was definately sasha & zabi, it was just ok...
& it wasn't just the crowd...
its soo funny how much of a big deal all you make 18+ out to be...
armin is probably worse then what the croud was anyway... |

| I pretty sure Crobar NYC got nominated for best Mega club in the USA, i have enjoyed every event there except for Tiesto last month. |

| i definitely support the +21 rule. i know that it is a lot less democratic, and what not, but i dont go to shows only for the music; i can listen to the music at home! i also go for a good crowd and good company, and it seems to me that most people under 21 do not contribute to a good crowd (a bit immature, and what not). ie, too many glowsticks, and dont know how to handle their drugs (laying on the floor and such). certainly there are those over 21 who do the same thing, but i would guess that there are fewer. also, its more interesting to talk to people who are older and more mature. from my standpoint..... |
