Sure it is! Thats what the voice on the 1940's vintage radio I keep hearing tells me. Plus I feel better when I don't sleep... |

to adjust a wacked sleeping schedule
a) get something that you will need to wake up for in the traditional morning hours. this is most usually a JOB, but can also be accomplished by scheduling early classes etc
b) perform activities that require physical exertion. play sports, go jogging/running, hit the gym, these things will wear you out and you'll find it easier to fall asleep because you're TIRED. sitting at home, staying in doors, watching TV, using the computer, do not require a lot of physical stress so you will not be using much energy and as a result you'll have a lot of energy at the end of the day and thus find it hard to fall asleep -- they can cause a lot of mental stress though so you might find the most uncomfortable combination of body awake mind asleep. |
those are good ideas but sometimes they dont work i have early classes and go swimming when i wake up, and yet my bedtime is still 6 am , its weird but it's probably just a faze. |

| I do this weird thing where I go for like two weeks sleeping for five hours a night... and then BAM, one evening I crash with my girlfriend on my beanbag couch at like 6PM and don't wake up until sometime around noon the next day. It's weird, and my friends make fun of me for it, but it seems to make up for all those lost hours. |

| I stay up to like 1am... then suddenly at 6am, I wake up like a bolt ready to go. Happening a lot lately. Been up since 4am. Just had a shower, shave, etc. |

For me it changes everyday, kinda ed up but I'm able to adapt so it's all good. And I'm just a night person
So like 1 day I'll sleep from 7h30 am - 12 or 1 and the next day I'll sleep from midnight to 7 am.
Got used to this after I spent 3 months sleeping a maximum of 3 hours per night... during the following months I would fall asleep pretty much anywhere |

Visual and auditory hallucinations rock though...Not to mention that "living a dream" feeling... |
I stayed up on NYE for 3 days, which was 24 hours longer than any time I've stayed up in 6 years of partying....
My walls were breathing. And I kept seeing people out of the corner of my eyes that weren't there.
Next time I'll nap. |

you guys are just messed up in the head. its ALWAYS your living habits, try getting more sunshine |
I dunno about you guys, but when I work shifts, I'm off during the day (and get days off during the week) so I get more sunshine than most.... Sun is good for everything. Especially depression. |

most peoples brains do that. Eventually it will extract sleep from you. A lot of asleep at the wheel cases hapen because your brain has been trying to tell you for a while to just go to bed and finally says "ite bud you had your chance, my turn" and blacks out. |

I have a habit of staying up watching TV until I cant take it anymore and fall asleep on the couch. Waking up every so often because my back is killing me or there's somthing annoying on tv.
Then around 6-6:30 I finally get my ass up to go to my bed, lay down and start thinkin of .. Then by that time I'm wide awake, and the sun is coming up so my room is getting lighter. I finally fall asleep around 7:00-8:00am just to wake up an hour later for class. |
