Iv got a dxm01 usb mixer setup to dssdj and 1 turntable. ITs connected to the computer with its 2 usb ports and the problem is that the second i hit record in any program, im using (adobe audition now) i get this wierd pulsing buzzing kind noise. its ok but in build ups or soft parts in songs its realy noticable. Was wondering if anyone else has the same problem and if they got a way around it. Thanks

Most likely the mixer or turntable as opposed to a computer/software problem. You've probably checked all your connections a million times by now so possibly check the cartridge or it could be a speaker problem? If you have another turntable then connect it if you don't get the buzzing it's probably that one turntable you are using. About the cartridges it could be the headshell so make sure the contacts from your cartridge to your headshell and the contacts from the headshell to the tonearm are clean.

Well it happens nomatter what cables im using, its not the speakers because they dont normaly make that noise. Its not the source because it happens even when the TT is not connected. im thinking it might be something to do with the computers ground or sumfin. Hopefully someone else with a dxm01 usb will be able to shed some light.

Soundcard? Drivers?
DJ 00 Tommy
It doesnt use the soundcard it works through usb cables. It acts like an external soundcard. Remember the noise is only when im recording and their are no drivers.

You then most likely as you said a ground loop problem. Maybe these might help...
