Hi!
Another Cybernetika Tune is finished :disbelief
This one has been born out of picking over the bones of an old project which was in fact the first Goa track I've made...
I changed a lot on this one and made it (hopefully) epic, spacey and driving. This one is running at increased speed (150BPM) and features lots of melodies in the Oldschool-Goa Style, spaced out pads and raving synths. And yes, it IS meant to be hypnotic, hence a bit monotonous, it contains tons of layers so it sounds a bit muddy. And it is meant to be epic because of its length ;)
I am quite unsure about the sound here... I dont know what I have to cut in order to make this sound less distorted in the end.
Anyway, I hope you still enjoy it :)
Title: Silver Blue Aurora

Pads in the opening are nice and spacey.
I love how you've brought all the complexity together, then let it go, and brought it back, then let it go, then brought it back for the final melody. Very impressive.
The only real problem I had was with the snare rolls, but that's just my personal taste. |

12 minutes... thats pretty long even for a psy track!
Your getting some great sounds out of vanguard (I'm guessing thats what your using for the leads) Wish I could get it to make those sounds =) The bass is killer in this one too.. it really works.
Theres a lot of subtlety in this one. Nice melody around the 3.15 mark. I like the very subtle rises in notes. 10.43 is a pretty insane break... nice!
Theres so much, so its kind of hard to comment on particulars, but generally I like the direction you've taking with this one. Its pretty straight forward and melodic but still has a lot of atmosphere.
I'd like to hear a club edit or something a bit shorter though... really stack all those subtleties one on top of each other and just hear what kind of mayhem ensues. |

| Thanks a lot axolotyl, yeah.. maybe I should consider a club mix.. and I think I should give more emphasis to the chorus at 3:15... |
