Question about Satellite Records

Does the actual store in NYC carry more vinyl selection than the website? The reason I'm asking is because I can find very few releases using search on their website www.satelliterecords.com. Do they not offer all their inventory on the website?

they dont have everything you see available online, at the store.... what u need to do is order it online, then choose 'pick up at store' option. :)

the store inventory and the online inventory are 2 separate entities- just think of it as 2 different companies with affiliations pretty much.

I kinda/sorta work for the Boston Satellite Records, so its actually 3 different companies. Its all very confusing, there is www.satelliteboston.com and www.satelliterecords.com which is basically just a warehouse where they take a week to fill your order by which point half of it is sold out...I've been saying they need to put everything in one basket for awhile now. Oh almost forgot about the store down in Atlanta...bit of a mess.

Im gonna advise against ordering from satellite unless you REALLY need the record and no other store has it, because satellite is alittle pricey. On top of that, although you might not be paying for shipping, you do get charged tax.

Hrmm, just noticed the site doesn't accept Paypal. Do any of you know of some good sites that accept Paypal? Preferably with a good selection of progressive house and located in the U.s. or Canada.

be weary of the dealing with them online (as mentioned above)... i've ordered crap only for them to come back to me days later and be like "sorry, we're sold out"... it's f'ing 2005... get your inventory management system up to date with real time! :whip:
