Need a recommendation for DJ gear

Hey
Been around for a while, and it's about time I get myself some decks and an okay mixer.
Could someone recommend me a decent pair of decks and a mixer at around 950USD?
I was looking at Numark's DJINABOX sets, but upon reading some reviews I changed my mind. Many people report that they don't deliver. It seems like the decks are trashy, and the whole setup is just a cheap trick. Although bad they're priced at around 275USD, I figure I might as well spend a bit more and get something that'll last. |

get a pair of 1200s off of Ebay for <$600.
buy a new Vestax PCV-275 for $300 (if you can still get one).
take the extra $50 and buy 10 records. |

Don't buy the dj-in-a-box thing. It might be fun for a while but, down the road you will realize what a waste of money it is as you will want to upgrade your equipment.
Techs are the standard but, you could also look at Numark TT500's for around $250-300 brand new.
Numark DXM06 mixer is $250-285 brand new.
Best suggestion is to go out and try all this stuff out before you decide to buy.
I have 1200's and the DXM06 now, after owning a TTX and a TT500 first. I wish I would've gotten Tech's the first time around but, that is just me and my personal pref. |

| What Cosmo said. I've been watchin 1200's on ebay lately and I've seen pairs go for alot less than 600, which means even more extra cash. |
