Just listening as I write - I presume its 'B-lo' I should be listening to?
Right then -
Firstly that kick is very weak, and takes over 30 seconds before I hear a note played.
Its taking a while to get going - still no sign of trance yet,
It all seems very basic IMHO, and isnt what I would describe as Trance - no strings,pads,atmos,effects.
I dont like it but it might be someone elses cup of tea
IMO you need to fill it out more and get it going a bit quicker - although the track just stopped and didnt go anywhere at all!

yea i have to agree entirely with Messiah.
All i can suggest is listen to as much trance as you can, you'll be surprised on how many tips and how much inspiration you can get by listening to alot of trance.
Try and make it a bit more interesting for the listener, i was tempted to switch off after 40 secs off kick and hi hat.
But as Messiah said, keep going, the more time and research you put in, the BETTER you will get, beleive me you will never stop learning if you apply yourself. |
