Thanks for your time.

You need more percs, methinks. Add some energy to it. Your open hat could also be a bit more audible.

Especially around 6:10, you have this part that could be very energetic, but your percs are either nonexistent, or inaudible. In fact, that may have been my issue with your last track. I'd have to go back and check.

Once again, you've got a good idea going here, but it doesn't really get me going before it drops me flat.

Thank you for pointing that out.

I just updated the song, there are more elements in the percussion area , in the climax of the track, also I made them audible.

Thanks again for your time thoughtlessjex. :)

Yeah, I can tell that much more effort went into the percs this time around. The track became a lot more interesting with the added complexity.

change the kick...

change the snare/clap... it's not 1992 anymore.

okay basicaly change ALL the drums to something more modern!

bassline notes should be longer... to ride on the track better. i like the chords coming in at the 2:40 mark

change the mainlead in the breakdown to a more powerful supersaw... the lead instrument there isn't powerful enough.. put a sidechain reverb on the lead so the reverb slaps back at you like in Rank 1 - [email protected] (use that track as a reference)

build up needs to be changed. crashing without a snareroll or nothing sounds very unprofessional... kind of like a cheesey marching band theme more than a trance song. Don't use fruityloops voices! They suck and no label will sign track that has fruityloops voices.

Okay this track needs a lot of work, but I can hear with all the changes made, it being in Tiesto's record box. Capital try tho.

Complexity isn't the key to a good track. Anyone can pile up percussion after percussion, synth after synth and sound like utter crap. This message goes out to all producers on TA. I hear a lot of you guys mention that complexity is the key to a successful track, that unfortunately is not the case.

Infact, if anything simplicity will get you farther, but most importantly it's not how much you have. It's how well you know how to use it. Having 10 synths whirling around each other isn't what makes a good lead... A good sounding, catchy melody is what makes a good lead. If you've elevated to the skill where you can mix 10 synths and still keep the track sounding transparent, then more power to you, you have a good lead (complex, yet still good). A lot of beginning producers get in over their heads and put so much on their track they can't even handle. They have too much stuff going on. So many channels and plugins open, that they're lost when it comes to mixing and adjusting them and in the end (sometimes their computer will lock up if its a slower computer), since they can't do much about it, they put out a ty production. Just because you've just purchased a copy of FL studio doesn't mean you have what it takes to make a complex trancer like Armin.

In other words, if you're a beginning producer, start small, once you've established chops, then you can show off your "artistry" by building massively complex tracks.

Trust me man, you've got your packed when it comes to music. Now you've gotta worry about the sound engineering portion of your production, and yeah worry about your percussion... in drums and percussion you are lacking.. come on dude you're a latino, don't you guys have rhythm?
