getting punched with a bare fist or a boxing glove - it still hurts.

tried it a few years ago. was 100% useless.

wouldn't mind tryin it again, seemed like good fun :)

then people will think "dont mess what that guy!! he's a boxer!!"

a e boxer at that :)

"couldn't box eggs!!"

I've been doing Tae-Kwon-Do since I was a kid and before that did Karate.

I always wanted to be like a Shaolin monk or something that would be slammin' I got a clan in mind...

Started in middleschool had my own little ring 8-10th grade of friends that would fight, started turning recreational and now I just hit the bag and work on breaking up patterns and getting power and speed behind hits. After a while strategy becomes pretty moot hehe. Fun though, I still think its the greatest fighting sport out there.

my favorite combat sport to watch is K-1 Kickboxing and Ultimate Fighters. those guys really kick the out of each other, and they're all over 6 feet tall of pure muscle. 90% of the fights end with a guy on the floor, unlike boxing which both fighters usually never fall down and its points that win.

have u gained any muscle? how much weight have u gained or lost? something that helps with soreness is protein. the soreness is your muscle broken down being forced to make movements, and the lactic acid buildup. taking in extra protein will help your muscle rebuild itself much faster, so the soreness last very short. regularly, ide be sore for 2 days maybe after a workout, with protein supplements, i could barely feel it the next day. make sure if u take them, to take them immediately after a workout, at most 30 minutes after your done.

a lot of it might come from not stretching before and after. Boxing tends to compact you and if you let the tendons tighten and then you go and rip them all apart again the next day its gonna keep hurtin

i don't box, but i've played fight night.

TaekwonDo for almost 5 years now.

Soreness definitely goes away - especially if you make sure to stretch and stay in a very regular regiment of the activity you're doing. Learn how to stretch and how to stretch right - it will all be fun from there. :toocool:

Chinese Jiu-Jitsu, Greco-Roman Wrestling, and Muy Thai Kickboxing.

It's the perfect combination for fighting. Knockout someone standing, take them to the ground if close in, and either choke them or break their arm on the ground :)
