I'm still trying to figure this one out myself. I DO know that certain programs will give u the option to install on all user accounts. The programs that DO NOT give me that option: What i do is go to the MY COMPUTER, then in the C: drive there is a 'Documents and Settings' folder with all the info for all the user accounts (Desktop icons, Start Menu programs, etc.). I go in that folder and start copying & pasting through the different profiles to "share" the programs.
Hope this helps.......if someone knows an easier way, PLEASE let me know!! |

well im on 2k and its quite similar to xp, tho more network oriented.
ideally, the best way to install 'world' programs, do it as an administrator.
this is the primary logon for the OS, and the reason different users have different progs is one in the same. installing things as admin makes them appear everywhere.
its a pain, and i dont know how to apply them on a case by case basis (tho it likely can be done) so good luck| |
